Lena and Shannon are being sponsored for a five-day football festival held yearly called Edinburgh cup it helped them to go to the mainland to play other girls teams from Ireland England and mainland Scotland. This is the only competitive women’s games they receive with other teams due to remote islands. This allowed them to go cost free.
One of Shetland’s prominent young netball players was appointed as an ambassador for the sport late last year. We sponsored her travel and accommodation costs. You can read more about this via Shetland News.
Mark coached and sponsored Whitedale teams (U6-U18), providing team kits. The company also sponsored a display board at Strom Park to support pitch maintenance.
Mark has coached and supported the Shetland Girls team.
